Please note that Wix is not a HIPAA-compliant platform. Do not submit personal health information through any Wix-managed forms or profile fields. SimplePractice and Hushmail are bound by Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) and are contractually required to protect your information in accordance with HIPAA. Wix operates under its own privacy policy, available at www.wix.com/about/privacy.

Please do not submit sensitive personal health information (such as your diagnosis or full medical history) through general website contact forms or Wix-managed fields. If you need to share sensitive information, please contact us by phone or use our secure Hushmail forms.
6. Data Retention
As a mental health practice, we are required to retain client records in accordance with applicable federal and Maryland state law. Client records are maintained for a minimum of five years from the date of last service, or longer as required by law. We do not delete client records upon request where retention is mandated by HIPAA or state regulations.
For non-client information (such as contact form submissions or newsletter sign-ups), we retain data as long as reasonably necessary for business purposes.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
